God has been so good to me. I have a beautiful wife who is my best friend and the love of my life. We have been blessed with the opportunity of adopting 3 children and though it has its trials it also has its rewards. Jesus said in Luke 11:9-10 (NIV)
"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. [10] For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
God answers prayers. He answers them in His time and His will but He will answer them. We might not always understand why He answers them His way but He answers.
We prayed for children and what we received is 4 miscarriages and then finally we adopted but we couldn't love these kids any less. This is also the way God loves us. We may not be Jesus but He doesn't love us any less.
