In Every army, soldiers commit to fighting battles together, waging war on the enemy and upholding the integrity of all that they believe. In The Salvation Army, new soldiers reinforce the truth of the Gospel as they commit their lives to Jesus Christ by signing the Soldier's Covenant.

The Winchester Hispanic Outpost in Winchester, Va., has enrolled (L - R): Efrain Maldonado, Rosa Aparicio, Cilas Herrera and Tanya Ayala. On the far right, Lt. Colonel William Crabson, NCV divisional commander, prays alongside the new soldiers as they make their commitments to the Lord.

 

 

Right: The Mobile Citadel Corps in Mobile, Ala., enrolled five junior soldiers (L - R): Jeny Woods, Jonah Baldwin, Chan Carter (back), Emily Baldwin (front right) and Torianya Adams. The enrolling officers are Captains Eric and Tonya Roberts. Flagbearers are Ann Bennett and Andy Ainsworth.

 

Left: Enrolled by corps officers Majors Sam and Mary Kay Hearne were five senior soldiers, five junior soldiers and one adherent at the Clarksburg, W.Va., Corps.
