ROOTS South 2007
: January 12-14 in Talladega,
Ala. In addition to the main sessions where
Commissioner Max Feener, Aaron White and Majors Richard and Janet Munn will
speak, ROOTS aims to educate us about social causes. We will support an
initiative against sexual trafficking with which The Salvation Army is
involved. In rural China, women are deceived into becoming sex slaves.
To combat widespread trafficking in rural villages, the Chinese
government has now partnered with The Salvation Army. Hear from someone who has
visited one of these villages.
Delegates will also be
spiritually ignited through: 24/7 Prayer Room; resource area with mission
opportunities; worship concert; chat with the worship leaders; optional tour of
the Birmingham Civil Rights Museum (limited occupancy) and much more!
To register, go to www.rootsonline.org or contact the Territorial Youth Department at 404-728-6700, ext.
496.
