The Salvation Army in Huntsville, Alabama is transforming men and women, often substance abusers with identifiable, treatable handicaps, who are no longer able to cope with their problems, who come to the Salvation Army for help.  They receive adequate housing and nourishing meals, engage in useful work, and have the benefits of spiritual guidance, and skilled counceling in clean and wholesome surroundings.  The Salvation Army offers free temporary shelter to transient men and women in financial straights.

Check-in is at 6:30pm every night, year round.

Shelter options include free night-to-night lodging, weekly paid option, or the Extended Stay Program (for individuals who are getting close to entering permanent housing).
