The Salvation Army conducts a wide array of Youth Ministries in communities throughout Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi aimed at providing life-changing, uplifting programs to enhance the lives of young people. From scouting and music programs to summer camping and Bible Studies, all of our youth programs and activities stem from The Salvation Army's mission of reaching out to God's people in Jesus' name.
Weekly Adventure Corps (boys) and Sunbeam and Girl Guard (girls) programs are conducted weekly at most Salvation Army Corps (local Salvation Army church) by trained and committed leaders and staff. Young people are exposed to wholesome, educational and recreational activities and nurturing compassion as they set forth upon the journey of joy, growth, motivation and adventure that these programs bring about.
