Captains Andy and Abby Miller
|
|
|
|
Captain Andy Miller obtained a B.A. in music composition from Asbury University. He has 14 pieces of music published for bands and choirs. He obtained an MDiv. from Asbury Theological Seminary and recently received a Doctorate of Ministry from Southern Methodist University's Perkins School of Theology with honors (Dissertation: Missional Hospitality: Toward a Renewed Theological Praxis in Salvation Army Housing Ministries). Captain Abby Miller has a B.S. in Music Education from Asbury University and an M.A. in Christian Education from Asbury Theological Seminary. Captain Abby Miller is a native Georgian and has received numerous academic honors from Asbury University (Outstanding Music Educator, 2003), Asbury Theological Seminary (Christian Education Student of the Year, 2006), and the Evangeline Booth College (Sidney Cox Music Award and the John and Helen Ray Stumbo Biblical Application Award, 2007). Millers have two boys, Andy IV and Titus Wesley , and a beautiful baby girl, Georgia Kay.
They will enjoy being within a day's drive of Captain Abby's family. And being close to Captain Andy's grandmother, Mrs. Commissioner Joan Miller, who resides in Lawrenceville.
