Salvation Army Disaster Assistance Centers Distributing Comfort and Cleanup Kits To Flood Victims
(Atlanta, September 26, 2009) With its eleven Disaster Canteens still mobilized serving hot meals and beverages throughout Metro Atlanta's flood-affected communities, The Salvation Army Disaster Teams have prepared its five area Disaster Assistance Centers for this weekend's distribution of thousands of cleanup kits, hygiene kits, and other comfort items to residents of the more than 15,000 homes damaged by the September 21st Georgia floods.
