WEBCAST OF SOLDIERS RALLY AT ATLANTA TEMPLE CORPS
WITH GENERAL SHAW CLIFTON, & COMMISSIONER HELEN CLIFTON

This will follow previous correspondence sent on behalf of Major C. Mark Brown reminding you that the Communications Bureau will be webcasting the Soldiers Rally, scheduled for Wednesday, October 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Temple Corps, with the participation of The Salvation Army's International leader, General Shaw Clifton, and World President of Women's Ministries, Commissioner Helen Clifton.

As with all previous webcasts, the program will be transmitted live and is intended for viewing on a personal computer. We recommend that the transmission not be projected onto screens for large group viewing. Those who do attempt to project the image will experience poor reception and resolution of picture.

The webcast is being advertised through the General's website and the IHQ website. Therefore we anticipate several thousand computers will be logged on to the event. Our broadcast vendor is aware of this and assures us of a guaranteed slot for everyone. It will be impossible to accurately record how many persons will view the webcast, so you may be asked to submit a brief survey with that information following the broadcast.

The Soldiers Rally will also include music by the Atlanta Temple band and a massed songster chorus. The Webcast will be archived and available 24/7 for a set period of time, sometime following the live transmission.

Here are the details:

Address to view the Webcast will be www.commissioningweekend.org

It is suggested that you log on to the site no earlier than fifteen minutes before the scheduled broadcast gets under way at 7:00 p.m.
