Adult Rehabilitation Center 740 Marietta Street Atlanta, GA 30303 (404) 522-9783
Every week, 50 truckloads of usable furniture, appliances, clothes, and household goods are picked up from attics, basements, garages, and closets throughout Metro Atlanta. After being prepared for sale, those items are delivered to our seven, clean, well-maintained Salvation Army Thrift Stores, and sold at unbelievable prices. You may already know that - but what you may not know is what happens to the money you spend. And knowing that can make you feel even better about the bargains you find. Your purchases at The Salvation Army Thrift Stores directly support a vital program that has helped thousands of lives in Atlanta since 1908: The Atlanta Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC). Every year the ARC houses and cares for hundreds of men, restoring self-esteem, faith, and human dignity in the process. So when you shop at our Thrift Stores, you save more than money. You're also helping to save lives.

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs
Four Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs provide safe and enriching environments to approximately 3,500 Metro Atlanta kids. Seventy-three percent of club participants live at or below the poverty level in low-income communities, often in federally-subsidized housing with a single parent or grandparent as head of household. By providing after-school and weekend programs, our Boys & Girls Clubs are making a difference in the lives of these Atlanta youths. Club members can get help on their homework, learn about computers, attend field trips and special events, or just hang-out with their friends in a drug-free safe environment.
