RENT ASSISTANCE
Rent Assistance is available to those who are soon to be evicted from their homes. Individuals with an eviction notice may call the Project SHARE line on Wednesdays between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., or the first 25 callers. Photo ID, a Social Security Card for all household members, bills from the previous six months, and proof of income are required to receive assistance.

UTILITY ASSISTANCE
The Salvation Army also offers assistance to those with a cutoff notice from the water, gas, or electric company. Those at risk of having their utilities cut off should also call the Project SHARE line on Wednesdays between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Funding received from Georgia Power allows us to provide utility assistance to families in emergency need. Community members may make donations to Project SHARE through their Georgia Power bills, to which Georgia Power will match 100%.

For more information about other community assistance resources please access United Way's 211 resource hotline by simply dialing 2-1-1.
