Social Services
It has been said The Salvation Army offers caring support for every problem “from the cradle to the grave.” At The Salvation Army Social Service Center our services are as wide-ranging and diverse as the areas of need in the community.
Because we have such tremendous scope in our service provision, each program is able to link with other services in the network, thus enhancing our capacity to help those in need.
The Salvation Army Social Service Center is based on the love of God and addresses practical concern for the needs of people in our community. We are guided by the belief that persons in need of financial assistance, food, housing, or other emergency assistance should receive:
Living facilities that are safe, comfortable and suitable.
Program services designed to meet their needs.
Professional services regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or sexual orientation, and be treated with respect and dignity as an individual.
Regular feedback on behaviors.
Daily Meals, including sack lunches for those in Employment Services
Substance abuse counseling.
Case Management

Care and services that lead to self-sufficiency and stability.
A listening ear, particularly when decisions affecting his or her life are concerned.

The Social Service Center includes 274 beds for men, womend and families with children. Laundry facilities are also on-site
