KETTLE KICKOFF</span></strong></p>
<p>An enduring holiday tradition continued Nov. 17, 2009, at The Salvation 
Army's Red Kettle Kickoff in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The event featured music 
from The Salvation Army Brass Band, a symbolic first donation into an oversized 
kettle and recognition for corporate and individual donors. The holiday 
campaign raised more than $552,000.</p>
