FRANKLIN SQUARE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB RECEIVES $5,000
FROM THE WACHOVIA FOUNDATION
The Wachovia Foundation awarded the Baltimore Area Command of the Salvation
Army $5,000 on July 30, 2009, to
support its Franklin Square Boys and Girls Club program.
The programs at the Franklin Square Boys and Girls Club aim to enhance
the lives of at-risk youth between the ages of 6 and 18 in the Baltimore area.
The club offers the children an opportunity to interact with others in a
structured and supervised environment. The goal of the Club's many programs is
to prepare children and teenagers for a successful transition into
adulthood.
The mission of The Wachovia Foundation is to build strong and vibrant
communities, improve the quality of life, and make a positive difference.
