FRANKLIN SQUARE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB RECEIVES $5,000

FROM THE WACHOVIA FOUNDATION

The Wachovia Foundation awarded the Baltimore Area Command of the Salvation Army $5,000 on July 30, 2009, to support its Franklin Square Boys and Girls Club program.

The programs at the Franklin Square Boys and Girls Club aim to enhance the lives of at-risk youth between the ages of 6 and 18 in the Baltimore area. The club offers the children an opportunity to interact with others in a structured and supervised environment. The goal of the Club's many programs is to prepare children and teenagers for a successful transition into adulthood.

The mission of The Wachovia Foundation is to build strong and vibrant communities, improve the quality of life, and make a positive difference.
