 Wal-Mart Donates $5,000 to the Salvation Army's
Glen Burnie Boys and Girls Club

In conjunction with the Grand Opening of its newest store in Severn, Wal-Mart is presenting a $5,000 grant to the Salvation Army's Glen Burnie Boy and Girls Club.  The donation will be presented to Captain Aaron Goldfarb during the Grand Opening festivities at the store in the new Quarterfield Shopping Center on March 3 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

"Wal-Mart has been a corporate sponsor of the Salvation Army for over 20 years," remarked Captain Goldfarb.  "We thank them for their generosity and for providing more opportunities through Project Learn for our children."

The Salvation Army operates four Boys and Girls clubs which have nearly 700 members in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
