KETTLE KICKOFF
An enduring holiday tradition continued Nov. 17, 2009, at The Salvation
Army's Red Kettle Kickoff in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The event featured music
from The Salvation Army Brass Band, a symbolic first donation into an oversized
kettle and recognition for corporate and individual donors. The holiday
campaign raised more than $552,000.
