T. ROWE PRICE FOUNDATION GRANTS ADDITIONAL $10,000 TO SALVATION ARMY
BALTIMORE AREA COMMAND
Trustees of the T. Rowe Price Associates Foundation approved a grant of $10,000
to The Salvation Army Baltimore Area Command on December 29, 2009. This came on
the heels of another T. Rowe Price Foundation grant of $10,000 in November.
This operational grant for Baltimore City programs and services will benefit
the Baltimore Area Command's work in the city, including: the Booth House
Shelter, FeedMore Canteen, the Baltimore Family Service Center and the Franklin
Square Boys and Girls Club. "The Foundation's designation of $10,000 to
Salvation Army Baltimore Area Command is intended to support your efforts to
continue to serve the needs of vulnerable individuals and those hardest hit by
the economic downturn," says Stacey Van Horne, Executive Director at the T.
Rowe Price Associates Foundation, Inc. "We appreciate all that T. Rowe Price
does to better the Baltimore community," says Major Roger Coulson, Baltimore
Area
Command. "The funds will help the Salvation Army to serve those in need through
our various programs and services."
