Online Bill Paying Company Builds Bikes
and
Donates Them to Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club

Employees of Bill Me Later (www.billmelater.com), an online
bill-paying service based in Timonium, built bikes as part of a teambuilding
exercise and presented them to six children from the Salvation Army Boys and
Girls Club, Franklin Square Unit, at the conclusion of the event, on May 1,
2009, at the 1840s Plaza in Baltimore. The children, ages 8-12, were chosen
because of greatly improved report cards, and participate in the Salvation
Army's SMART Moves (Skills Mastery and Resistance Training)
prevention/education program, which addresses the problems of drug and alcohol
use and premature sexual activity.
