In a recent census, it was discovered that there are more than 3000 homeless men, women, and children living on the streets of Baltimore City alone. It is The Salvation Army's founding mission to conquer the evils of hunger, despair, and destitutation, and as such we operate and provide several worthwhile and effective services for the homeless.

BOOTH HOUSE

Tucked away in the heart of downtown Baltimore is The Salvation Army Booth House Shelter, a 24-hour emergency and transitional housing shelter for local women, children and families. The 57-plus-bed emergency shelter snd 19 bed transitional housing unit provide a safe, comfortable environment for residents attempting to rebuild and begin their lives again.

FEEDMORE

Seven nights a week, The Salvation Army mobile feeding unit takes to the streets of Baltimore, to provide hot meals, clothing, warm blankets and toiletries to Baltimore City’s homeless and impoverished men, women, and children.
