Brass Band Fall Concert on November 22, 2010
The Salvation Army Baltimore Brass Band Fall Concert will be held at Salvation Army Middle River Corps Community Center/Boys and Girls Club, 1400 Fuselage Avenue, Baltimore, MD (Middle River) 21220, on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 4:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

The event will feature the entire Brass Band. This is the group that provides the ensemble groups that play music at the Kettle Kick-off, Women's Auxiliary Christmas Festival, and the Advisory Board/Auxiliary/Council Christmas Party.

Besides parking in the front of the building, parking also is available on the side lot of the Food Lion across the street.

CAMP TOMAHAWK 2009

Seventeen Baltimore area children were among the 150 who attended Salvation
Army's Camp Tomahawk, an overnight camp for underprivileged children ages
7-12. The cost for campers was only a $20 registration fee to attend from
July 27 to August 1, 2009. Camp Tomahawk provides children with a fun,
Christian-based program throughout the week, with activities that include
swimming, boating, archery, and crafts.

 


LT. GOVERNORS' WIVES VISIT BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB

Franklin square

The Franklin Square Boys and Girls Camp Club had some special visitors in July 2009, the wives of Salvation Army Lieutenant Governors. Eight ladies played board games, pool and ping-pong with the children, and the boys and girls sang and danced.
