Doughnut Day is celebrated each year on the first Friday in June. In honor of National Doughnut Day, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts hands out one free doughnut to each visitor at their Little Rock store located at 1315 South Shackleford Road. National Doughnut Day is a day originally created by The Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I.

Monday, October 21

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will host its Annual Autumn Runway Fashion Show & Luncheon on October 21, 2013 at Immanuel Baptist Church on Shackelford Rd. The silent auction begins at 10:30 A.M. The program and lunch starts at 11:30 A.M.
Price is $35.00 a person
