The Candidates Department of the Southern Territory USA, is dedicated to helping those who receive their Calling from God, to Answer that call. The department aides in the application process which one begins through their Corps (church) Officer (pastor) and from there, the divisional headquarters. This process can often be strenuous and stressful, but we believe firmly that if it is God's will for a person to become an Officer, he will open all doors in the way. The process can also be very rewarding, in that candidates will be taking on many new roles in their home corps and will be able to build upon their gifts from God in ministry.
The department is comprised of five members: Major Susan Brown, the leader and innovative one behind the new road upon which we are embarking; Major Grace Cumberbatch, the organized one who takes care of all of the important paperwork and planning; and Mrs. Daphne Williams-Wilson, the one who takes care of the medias in which we reach the public and our candidates. Our newest addition is Captain Robyn Glass who will be the Assistant Candidates Secretary and will diligently assist Major Brown in all areas of helping of the Candidate Department helping to answer God's call.
