The Positive Place for Kids Campaign 2009
Nationally, 67% of all children graduate high school in four years. Among children who are members of a Boys & Girls Club for two years, that number rises to 93%. For those who are members for four years, that number is 97%.
We need your help! While some children pay a membership fee of $5 per year to attend a Boys & Girls Club, many cannot afford even that amount. However, no child is turned away, and the cost for a child to attend one of our clubs for one year is $511. We would like your assistance toward sending a child to one of our Clubs for two years and increasing that child's chances of graduating high school in four years.
A $500 contribution would pay for a child to attend one of our Clubs for one full year. A $250 contribution would cover six months.
