The Salvation Army's DFW Metroplex Command Receives Grant
[Ft. Worth, Texas]- The Salvation Army announced a grant award from the Meadows Foundation to maintain the S.T.A.R.T (Stabilizing To Achieve Richer Tomorrows) program. The S.T.A.R.T. program provides a temporary place to stay for individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse problems. The program is geared towards giving clients the tools and resources needed to be successful, especially in long-term programming such as transitional and permanent housing programs.
