• After school Program
Today, more than ever both parents find themselves having to work long hours outside the home to make ends meat, and many struggle to find a balance to pick up their children from school and assist them with homework. The Salvation Army Center of Plano offers a weekly school pick up and homework assistance program that meets these family’s needs.
• Computer Classes
Lack of Computer use due to low income homes keeps families from reaching their goals for a better future in this fast pace technology world. Our Community Center in Plano is able to meet some of these needs by providing computer classes to keep up and find better opportunities.

• ESL Classes - English as a Second Language (ESL)
Improve your listening and speaking abilities in English. English can be a key to success in your career and daily life. We desire to expand opportunities for parents who cannot afford E.S.L in other places and desire a safe and local place to attend. Classes focus on the specific skills our students want to improve. Listening & Speaking courses – these courses focus on these two vital communication skills, giving students ample opportunity to converse, learn cultural norms and interact in class. Pronunciation courses – these courses target the difficult speech sounds and patterns of American English. They enhance students’ ability to be understood and to speak clearly and precisely.
