CONSIDERING THE FUTURE
Your generoisty is an essentail to our ability to help those in need, both now and in years to com. If you would be interested in making a gift of ongoing significance, the ideas below may be of intrest.
A gift included in your will or living trust is one way to establish a lasting legacy.
A gift of retirement assets, such as pension plans or IRAs, may allow you to give more that you thought possible, while eliminating taxes that may otherwise largely consume theses assets.
Consider gift of life insurance. Gifts of policies, or proceeds you may no longer need, offer excellent tax benefits.
A life income gift can be a tax-effective way to provide you, and/or some you designate, with regular payments for the rest of their life.
Gifts in any of these forms can be made in memory, or honor of, special loved ones. For further information about theses gifting opportunites, please contact BOB MILTON, The Salvation Army's Planned Giving Director for Alabama, at 601-214-2105. Bob will be happy to answer your questions at no cost or obligation to you.
Planned Gifts are arranged today, but, in most cases, benefit The Salvation Army at a future date. A planned gift can generate current income tax benefits and future estate tax savings, as well as create an income stream.
When the gift matures, the gift passes to The Salvation Army and will be used in accordance with the donor's wishes.
Gifts described in the following webpages qualify for membership in
