Want to Become a Salvation Army Officer?

Send this page to a friend Email envolope
Salvation Army Officership begins at the Corps level with a life dedicated to Jesus Christ. The first step is to join the ranks and become a soldier in The Salvation Army. This happens after completing a training class and signing "A Soldier's Covenant" our Articles of War.

After time, prayer and work at the local level the Corps Officer can recommend you for the College for Officer Training. Candidates from our area attend the Evangeline Booth College in Atlanta Georgia. After completion of an intensive two year program; commissioning and assignment to your first appointment are in the next order.

Becoming an Officer in The Salvation Army can be one of the most rewarding and challenging ministries available today. For more information please contact Captain Vic Tidman
