About Emerge
Emerge is an example of The New Orleans Salvation Army doing the most good by encouraging more than 1000 Recovery School District students to learn, lead, and grow, while collectively increasing federal funding to our local school system. Emerge uses the Army's experience of traditional programming that focuses on boosting attendance in school by providing positive monthly incentives. Students with perfect attendance and model behavior in the classroom participate in academic, spiritual, and leadership development activities that instill values that help shape successful lives.
The Salvation Army is appreciative of our original partners:
The New Orleans Hornets, The Audubon Nature Institute, and the Recovery School District
