Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) Volunteer
The Salvation Army New Orleans Area Command is looking for Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) volunteers to help serve those in the most need when a disaster strikes. By signing up today, you'll be ready to hit the ground running when others in our community need us most. Duties include preparing and serving meals on the Disaster Canteen.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or over, complete a volunteer application, and pass a background check. The Salvation Army will provide training in regards to using and operating the Disaster Canteen. Volunteers will be on call during local emergencies.
