Give-A-Kid-A-Coat - This is a partnership with A Cleaner World, Fox8WGHP, 1075WKZL, High Point Bank and The Salvation Army throughout the Triad. Please drop off your coats that no longer fit or may need minor adjustments to any A Cleaner World in the Triad. They will clean and lightly mend them and The Salvation Army distributes them to the families that need them. Please help support this effort. If you do not have a coat to donate, monetary donations can be made at High Point Bank; these funds are used to buy coats that are needed in sizes that are not donated.

Christmas Assistance Applications -we are no longer taking Christmas Assistance applications.

Other Volunteer Opportunities for Christmas

Give-A-Kid-A-Coat - November 11 to December 4; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00am to 4:00 pm. If you are able to assist clients as they pick out coats for their families, call 336-235-0352 to sign up. The only requirements are that you are friendly, able to work in a warehouse setting, and are over 18 years of age.

Truck Helper - December 7 - December 16, Monday -Saturday 9:00 am up to 9:00 pm. Help the driver navigate around Greensboro and help carry packages when picking up stockings, and toys from organizations and companies.

Toy Shop Preparation - December 7 - December 16. Monday - Saturday 9:00 am - up to 9:00 pm. Assist with preparing toys to be given out to clients. You must be able to work in a warehouse setting, much walking required and the ability to choose age appropriate toys. Must be 16 years old or older.

Toys Shop Distribution Days - December 17 & 18 9:00 am - up to 8:00 pm. You will be assisting with presenting clients with their gifts. We also re-organize for the next day. You must be friendly, able to go from outdoors to indoors and back, able to do a lot of walking and work in a warehouse setting. You must be over 16 years of age or accompanied by adults.

Warehouse Clean-up - January 4 - January 8 (if needed) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Assist with sorting and packing away Christmas warehouse items and cleaning the warehouse. You must be over 16 years of age.
