NightWatch

NightWatch is a ministry that began in November of 2004 and continues today.  A group of volunteers from many area churches and civic groups meet at the Center of Hope and gather in prayer before heading out to visit with the homeless where they are.  They bring food, snacks, hygiene kits, Bibles and the love of Jesus Christ to different sites in Greensboro and minister to the homeless.  For more information or to volunteer contact Steve Still @ 336-235-0362 or steven.still@uss.salvationarmy.org or click here to access the NightWatch Google Group

DayWatch

DayWatch is a ministry that has grown out of the NightWatch ministry.  This ministry is done in the afternoon/evening time period.  A location is chosen Downtown Greensboro and the ministry consists of combining a hot meal with a service, God's Word, hygiene kits, snack bags and Bibles.  We have had volunteer barbers and hairdresser to give free haircuts as well.  There is also BINGO games with prizes. A lot of volunteers are needed to make this a success.

This volunteer ministry is open to all ages, churches, families, youth groups etc. If this sounds like something your group would be interested in please click here to access the DayWatch Google Groups webpage. For more information please contact Deb Fisher at deb@fishersweets.com
