FOOD DONATIONS:
Donations of food for our food pantry can be dropped off at The Salvation Army Center of Hope at the Administrative entrance, 1311 S. Eugene Street. Please check in with the receptionist.
If you have a bulk donation, such as a pallet of food, you may deliver it to The Salvation Army Family Store, 307 W. Lee Street, which has a bulk storage area for the food pantry.
PLANNED GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Planned giving arranges assets to benefit you, your loved ones and charitable causes now and in the future. The Advantages of Planned Giving:

- Protection for your loved ones

- Preferential treatment of capital gains tax
Choose which giving plan is right for you:
- Will: A will is a legal document that distributes your property, both real and personal, to those you designate.
- Annuity Trust: An annuity trust provides a fixed dollar income to you as long as you live, and to any surviving beneficiary you name. The Salvation Army can't use the principal until these conditions are satisfied.
- Unitrust: A unitrust provides that income paid is a fixed percentage of the fair market value of the assets as determined annually.
- Charitable Gift Annuity: A charitable gift annuity is a gift where The Salvation Army pays one or two "annuitants" a fixed dollar amount for life based on gift size and the age of the beneficiary(s).
- Gifts of Insurance: Gifts of insurance name The Salvation Army as owner and/or beneficiary if an existing policy is no longer needed.
- Gifts of Real Estate: Gifts of real estate can be given to The Salvation Army - either outright, to fund a charitable remainder unitrust or under a life estate agreement which meets certain prerequisites.
