Need Knows No Season
The "miracle" of Christmas is repeated over and over again through the joy of caring and sharing. Donations provide Christmas dinners, clothing, and toys for families in need. Families of prisoners often are included.
Lack of adequate income prevents many families from providing Christmas gifts for their children and from putting a nutritious meal on the table on Christmas Day. While it may not be readily apparent, this heartbreaking scenario is played out in the lives of tens of thousands of low-income families in Greenville County.
The Salvation Army's Christmas Assistance program depends on generous gifts and contributions from caring and concerned individuals who want to help their fellow citizens.
