Will my donations be used in other Salvation Army units or centers?
Unless you designate your donation for somewhere else, around $0.82* of
every dollar of your donation will be used directly for people in need in Hernando
County, and the rest ($0.18) will be used in Administrative expenses of The Salvation
Army Hernando County Corps.
*Average for The Salvation Army at National
level. It could vary from unit to unit.

Will I be given a receipt?
Yes. However, it is your responsibility to have a list of the items. We
will give you a receipt for the items. Due to Federal Regulations (refer to IRS
Publications), The Salvation Army does not give a monetary value to the items
received.
