Captain John Dancer, Commanding Officer of The Salvation Army in Hot Springs, has something he would like to say...
General William Booth, the founder of The Salvation Army, once said, "While womem weep as they do now, I'll fight; While little children go hungry as they do now, I'll fight; While men go to prison, in and out, in and out, I'll fight; While there yet remains one dark soul without the light of God, I'll fight - I'll fight 'til the very end."
Looking around at great big world of ours, things haven't changed very much since William Booth's time. Our jails are full and our soup kitchens are feeding larger crowds than ever, including children. Many women find themselves drowning in tears of despair. Divorce is commonplace, fatherhood is practically non-existent, and way too many people, still to this day, do not know about the love of Jesus Christ and the hope that He provides. Therefore, like William Booth, I'll fight...'til the very end.

A Timely Thought:
2 Chron. 7:14 in God's word he states, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their Land."
I am convinced that we must pray for our nation and its leaders and ask for forgiveness. I ask you to join me in this plea to our Lord. Would you please pass this on to everyone you know and ask them to pray EVERYDAY? 10 to the 10th power is 1,000,000 people. IMAGINE if each person reaches TEN others and they reach TEN others and so on! If you do, and they comply, we will lift up millions and millions of prayers a day to our Creator. He will hear and He will answer.
Let me just add a quote from Ronald Reagan "If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under." I truly believe this is why the United States of America is in the shape it is in today. Most people have forgotten that we are one nation under God! Let us, as Christians, stand up and remind people of this.
