AUCTION RULES AND CONDITIONS 

Bidding Rules

1.   Everyone must register with a current valid Drivers License prior to receiving a bidder number.

2.  You must show your bidder number as you make your bid. 
 

 

3.   If you win the bid, you must do the following:

 

a.     Pay the required nonrefundable cash deposit for each purchase when awarded the bid.

 

b.    Pay for your vehicle in full by 12:00 noon on Saturday, the day of the auction, with cash, check, visa or MasterCard.

 

c.     You must remove all purchases from The Salvation Army property by the Friday(5 business days) following the Auction at 3:00 pm.

 

4. Everything is sold As-Is without warranty. EVERYTHING offered for Auction is donated.  Buyers are responsible to determine condition.

 

5. There is a 10% Buyers Premium on every purchase, based on bid price only.

 

6. No Tax is charged on your purchases. 

 

7. This is not an Absolute auction.  Some items are offered with a minimum acceptable bid.

 

 8. All sales Final.  You cannot pick and choose, exchange or trade

 

                                   TITLE AND TRANSFER

 

·        YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE TO BUY A CAR IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA.  IF YOU WANT TO DRIVE THE CAR, YOU MUST PRESENT A CURRENT INSURANCE CARD.

 

 ·        ANYONE WITH A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE CAN OBTAIN A BIDDERS CARD AND BID.  YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO MAKE THE REQUIRED NONREFUNDABLE CASH DEPOSIT ON EACH ITEM YOU PURCHASE.

 

 ·        YOU MUST TRANSFER YOUR TITLE AND THE PRICE FOR PROCESSING WILL BE $30.00 PLUS THE STATE FEES.   TRANSFER OF TAGS CAN BE DONE WITH CURRENT REGISTRATION.  YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A TAG AT THE TIME OF CLOSING YOUR SALE.  IF YOU DO NOT PURCHASE A TAG OR TRANSFER A TAG, YOU CANNOT RECEIVE A TEMPORARY TAG!

 

 ·        TITLES ARE MAILED TO YOU FROM TALLAHASSEE AND TAKE APPROXIMATELY 2 TO 3 WEEKS. 

 

 ·        RENEWALS ARE AVAILABLE. 

 

 ·        DEALERS PURCHASING FOR RESALE MUST PRESENT COPY OF CURRENT DEALER’S LICENSE AND TAX EXEMPT FORM AND PAY THE CURRENT PRICE OF $30.00 PROCESSING FEE. 

 

 ·        THE PERSON WHO BIDS ON THE CAR MUST BE ON THE TITLE; YOU MAY ADD ONE ADDITIONAL PERSON TO THE TITLE WITH YOU.  ALL PERSONS INVOLVED IN THE PURCHASE OF THE VEHICLE MUST BE PRESENT AND HAVE A VALID FORM OF IDENTIFICATION.  I.E. DRIVERS LICENSE, PASSPORT, STATE ID, OR U.S. MILITARY ID. 

 

 ·        IF YOU BID AND PURCHASE A VEHICLE WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE,  DMV. WILL NOT REGISTER THE VEHICLE.  THE SALVATION ARMY COMPLETES THE PROCESSING OF ALL PAPERWORK AND HAND DELIVERS TO THE STATE.  SINCE WE ARE A LICENSED DEALER THERE IS NO NEED FOR YOU TO VISIT THE DMV. 

 

 ·        NOTICE TO ALL BUYERS:  IF YOU HAVE AN OUTSTANDING BALANCE DUE WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA, THIS MAY PREVENT YOU FROM REGISTERING YOUR VEHICLE.
