RED KETTLE CAMPAIGN
The Christmas season is also the time of The Salvation Army's largest fund-raising efforts in Metro Jackson. The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign kicks off in mid-November. Bell ringers at some forty kettle stands across Metropolitan Jackson encourage holiday shoppers to drop spare change into The Salvation Army's trademark red bucket. The Christmas Kettle Campaign brings in funding for The Salvation Army's local year-round programs.

ANGEL TREE PROGRAM
Paper "angels" will be placed on Salvation Army Angel Trees in local malls and businesses. Each "angel" lists the name of a needy local boy or girl, their shoe and clothing sizes, an important need, and a special Christmas wish. Members of the community select "angels" from the trees, shop for the children represented by the "angels", and return new, unwrapped gifts and toys to the Salvation Army Angel Trees by early December. Local churches, corporations, and organizations hold toy drives which also benefit the Angel Tree program.
If your office, church or organization would like to adopt a group of angels, please call us about our Corporate Angel Tree Program. For information on the Corporate Angel Tree Program, call Marika Cackett at 601-982-4881 x115 or send her an email: Marika_Cackett@uss.salvationarmy.org
