Christmas Assistance

Send this page to a friend Email envolope

The Salvation Army's familiar Red Kettle has become a traditional part of the Christmas scene. The money donated provides year round assistance to the people of Knox, Blount, Campbell, Anderson, Sevier and Scott counties, but also provides special assistance at Christmas time.

Each Christmas thousands of children get presents through our Angel Tree Program.  In addition, thousands of children and Seniors will receive Christmas stockings and holiday food baskets.

2009 Angel Tree Program

This Christmas, over 2000 children will receive Christmas gifts through The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program.  You can sponsor a child by picking up an angel at Salvation Army Family Thrift Stores, Kroger stores or Knoxville area Titlemax locations

To host a Salvation Army Angel Tree or to adopt angels individually or as a group, contact us at knoxangeltree@gmail.com

In addition to the Angel Tree program, The Salvation Army will also be distributing 5000 Christmas stockings to area children and senior citizens.  Stockings come with an age-appropriate list of suggested items.  For  more information contact us at knoxville_volunteers@uss.salvationarmy.org
