Daytona, FL (February 15, 2011): On behalf of Major C. Mark Brown, CRD Secretary, I write to share exciting
news regarding the Daytona 500 event this coming weekend.
One of the racers, Morgan Shepherd, is a supporter of The Salvation Army
and has donated the space on the hood of his car to showcase The Salvation
Army's shield and branding promise. Mr. Shepherd will be racing in The
Salvation Army branded car at Daytona's NASCAR Nationwide Series race
Saturday, February 19th. In addition, children from The Salvation Army's
program in Daytona will attend the event, meet the drivers, and enjoy a
wonderful afternoon.
