New Pastors
Our new Pastors have arrived.  Captains Stan and Deborah Colbert bring with them 12 years of experience as Salvation Army officers.

Captain Stan Colbert is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College.  He attended seminary at Candler School of Theology at Emory University and has his Masters degree in Conducting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Though Stan is known throughout the Army world for his musical abilities, he will tell you his passion is the ministry and the people.  He loves to travel and read.  His favorite time is at home with his family.

Captain Deborah Colbert attended Kings Business College in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Outside her love for the Army ministry she devotes her time as a Clergy Volunteer for Hospice.  Deborah loves reading, cross stitch – her “7 Dwarfs” that you’ll meet soon – her dog, Chester.

Prior to becoming a Salvation Army Officer, Stan was a Professor in Music at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  Deborah was Marketing Manager for Professional Speaker and Trainer, Ty Boyd.

Stan and Deborah have both said, “They love the ministry and take our job as your Pastors seriously”!

Please take it upon yourselves to welcome them to your home.
