Support us financially
|
| |
| There are many ways to help, either for our general operating expenses or for our capital campaign to retire the debt on our Corps building and make improvements to better serve the community. The Salvation Army of Loudoun County is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization, and your cash and noncash contributions are fully tax-deductible. |
| |
- One-time cash contributions
|
| |
- Pledges for multiyear contributions of a designated amount
|
| |
- Gifts of appreciated stock, real estate and other assets – either now or as part of your estate planning.
|
| |
| You can direct your contributions toward our general operating expenses, or toward our capital campaign. Our general operating expenses allow us to provide all the services you see on the “Doing The Most Good” page. The capital campaign is our current effort to raise $3 million -- $2.5 million to retire the debt on our building and equip it to better serve those in need; and another $500,000 to endow our operations, maintenance and ongoing expenses. |

| Donate items to the Family Thrift Store |
| |
| We are happy to receive your “gently” used items of clothing, furniture, household items, books, electronics, etc., so those in need can purchase them at prices they can afford. |
| |
| The store is in our Corps building, 10 Cardinal Park Drive in Leesburg. From East Market Street (Rt. 7), turn at the Leesburg Honda dealership and go to the top of the hill. Turn left on Trailview Blvd., then immediately right in the driveway in front of our building. The parking/unloading area is on the right side of the building. (If you are not able to bring large furniture items to the store, please call 703.779.2301 for a pickup.) |
| |
| We are happy to provide a receipt for your donated items. Just ask any of the volunteers or staff at the thrift store. |

| Without volunteers, we could not provide the array of services described on the "Doing The Most Good” page. Please look over those services, and consider allocating some of your time to help them succeed. You’ll be a blessing to those less fortunate, right here in our county. There’s someone who can use your help, today. For more information, please call Judy Brittle at 703.771.1060 |
