Christmas & Seasonal Assistance

The Salvation Army offers assistance at Thanksgiving and Christmas for Lubbock County. This includes assistance with food for the holidays, gifts and toys for children, assistance with utilities, and much more.

During Christmas 2011, The Salvation Army, with the help of the Lubbock community, provided 4,325 children with a total of 17,300 gifts. In addition, 1,400 food boxes were given to individuals and families in need.

Red Kettle Work Program

Volunteering

Volunteers are needed to help receive applications for seasonal assistance, help serve Thanksgiving dinner, serve Christmas dinner, ring bells at a red kettle, and help set up toy distribution warehouse.
