Ways You Can Help!
D
oing the Most Good During the Holidays
Each year in hundreds of cities across the United States, The Salvation Army offers holiday shoppers the opportunity to adopt a child or senior through its Angel Tree program
The Angel Tree lets individuals and partnering corporations personalize a gift for a child or senior citizen in need by adopting an Angel and purchasing gifts for that individual
Angel Trees are set up at area shopping centers and malls. In addition corporations may choose to decorate Christmas Trees at their place of business with Angels for employees to adopt
After choosing an Angel and purchasing the gifts, they are returned to the Angel Tree location and distributed to the families during The Salvation Army’s Toy Shop
The children and senior citizens represented on the trees are from families who have previously applied for Christmas assistance through the Social Services program of The Salvation Army
