Introducing Our New Corps Officers for Jackson County
Captain Andy Bailey

Captain Andy Bailey is one of two children born to Dr. & Mrs. Andrew M. Bailey Jr. of Winona, Ms. I have been with The Salvation Army for the past 12 years serving in Florida, Arkansas and in Alabama. I am married to Jenny Bailey and we have 3 girls, Destiny (13), Nellah (9) and Andie Catherine (8). After graduating High School I attended the University of Alabama majoring in Business. Later on in life after many years in the Industrial and Commercial Construction business the Lord intervened in my life thus changing me and sending me in a new direction. At the age of 36 I attended Bible College where I earned my degree in Theology and Practical Ministry. At the present time I am working towards completing my Masters in Theology. We are looking forward to what the Lord has in store for the Bailey's in this great place called the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Captain Jenny Bailey
My name is Jenny Bailey and I was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1972 but lived in AZ most of my life. My sister and I are the only siblings and I am the youngest. In my twenties I gave my life completely over to Jesus and after that I met Andy Bailey who eventually became my husband. Not long after that, we attended the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry and at the same time started a ministry with the Salvation Army, where Captain Tony Baso and his wife Sharon were the Corps Officers. A few years later Andy graduated Fire School of Ministry where we were ministering with the Salvation Army in Pensacola, Fl. When Andy graduated FIRE School of Ministry, we moved to Fort Smith, AR with Captains Tony and Sharon Baso where I ministered there with The Salvation Army for the next two years. Andy became the SAMS Evangelist and with 3 girls now we moved to Birmingham, Al. were we worked alongside Majors Matt and Cathy Riley to help start the 614 Birmingham Corps in 2005. In January 2008 Andy and I became Sgt's and moved to Alabaster, Al. to take over the Corps. The past 4 years has been a huge blessing and God has done amazing things here in Alabaster. Currently we are Captains and on our way to a new Ministry in Pascagoula, MS. I am extremely blessed to be an Officer of the Salvation Army where Doing the Most Good benefits many. I see it as a privilege to serve as one of the Lords Soldiers for His Kingdom.
