The Salvation Army's 2012 Angel Tree Christmas Assistance Program will begin in just a few weeks, and the organization is inviting those who are struggling financially to register starting Monday, October 15.
The Salvation Army Angel Tree program aims to give children in need, between the ages of 0-12 years, a Christmas they may not have otherwise.
Harrison, Stone, Jackson and Pearl River Counties
Applications will be accepted only on a walk-in basis.
Harrison, Jackson Stone, and Pearl River Counties schedule is as follows:
October 15-16, 18-19, 22-23, & 25-26, 8 am- 4 pm
October 17 & 24, 8 am- 7 pm
October 20, 10 am-2 pm
Registration for Harrison, Stone, and Pearl River Counties will be held at 2019 22nd Street in Gulfport and you can call 228-374-8301 for more information.
Registration for Jackson County will be held at 3217 Nathan Hale, Pascagoula, MS and you can call 228-762-7222 for more information.
Hancock County
Please call 228-304-0246 for an appointment. Walk-ins will be seen as opportunity is available.

Registration will be held at At the Hancock Resource Center, 454 Hwy 90, Waveland, MS (Next to the WINN Job Center and PRCC)
George County
Applications will be accepted only on a walk-in basis.

Last Names beginning with the letters A - L Oct 15, 9-6 & Oct 17, 9-2
Last Names beginning with the letters M - Z Oct 22, 9-6 & Oct 24, 9-2
Last Names beginning with the letters A - Z Oct 27, 9-2

Person applying must bring VALID Photo ID
Parent or legal Guardian must apply for their own children
Guardianship/Custody Documentation required if you are not listed on
Birth certificate
State Issued Certified Birth Certificates for children 12 & under required. (no copies or hospital certificates)
Original Social Security Cards (no copies of cards, print out from Social Security office, or print out of shot records) or Certificate of Naturalization for EVERY member of the household
Must present notarized statement of any income help from family members

Proof means, you must bring these items into the building at the time of application. If you do not have the items at time of registration, you will not be able to receive assistance.
