For more than 135 years, The Salvation Army has been bringing relief year-round to those who need it most, offering food, shelter, supplies, and hope. A worldwide organization, The Army was founded in London in 1865 and is now in over 120 countries, touching millions of people each year in their darkest hours with both Christian compassion and parcial action. We strive to provide hope by sharing the love of Christ in various ways. One of the ways we provide hope is with a variety of radio programs. The Radio Ministries section of the Southern Territorial Evangelism and Adult Ministries Department produce the only nationally syndicated radio ministries of The Salvation Army. Produced under the auspices of the Continental Film, Radio and Television Commission of The Salvation Army, these programs are being aired on about 1500 radio stations worldwide via transmitters in 20 countries, toching the lives of potentially millions of listeners. |
