Social Services

Families in crisis and/or at risk for eviction/homelessness.

In today's world of high priced prescriptions, electric bills and rent, some families or elderly individuals are faced with choosing between life-saving medication, utilities or food. For whatever reasons these families need help, The Salvation Army is there to help ease some of that burden. By providing food, clothing, rent and utility assistance, we strive to help these families meet the needs of everyday living.

Description: The Salvation Army provides non perishable food, clothing, and can pay one month utility costs depending on the need and availability of funds. Also provides disaster assistance for fire, tornado, and hurricane. Angel tree/Christmas programs help families with food and toys for the holidays.

Referrals to other agencies are provided as needed.
