Year-Round Volunteer Opportunities

After
School
Mentor

Volunteer for an hour between 3:00 and
6:00 pm, 1-2 days a week. Read with a child, help
with homework -- they'll love you for it.
   
Child
Care
Center
       

Supplies, games and equipment are needed for
children from ages 1 to 5. Needs are ongoing as we
care for up to 82 children every day.

   
Emergency
Disaster
Services
Train to help us feed and comfort victims and First
Responders after a local, regional or national disaster.  
Must be able to deploy for 2 weeks at a time.
   
Food
Pantry
Collect, sort and pack food for Collier County
families all year (extra help is needed in November
and December).
   

Special
Events

Serve on a committee that helps organize fund
raisers like the Spring Tennis Tournament and Red
Kettle  Gala, a black-tie optional event held in November. 
   
Thrift
Store
Assist with organizing and replenishing stock, 
merchandising and assisting guests with purchases.

Seasonal Volunteer Opportunities

Ringers'  


 
Volunteers are needed to "Ring the Bells."  Kettles will
be at more than 50 locations throughout Collier. We 
need groups, individuals and businesses to volunteer
for a couple of hours, or even a whole day.

Kettle funds assist Collier County residents with
Thanksgiving and Christmas food and gifts plus
funds our Social Services programs all year. 
   
Adopt
   A
Family
Choose a family and provide holiday gifts so 
everyone in the family gets something special
at Christmas.
   

Christmas
Stocking
Stuffers

Collect stocking stuffer items for children (ages 5-12)
and Seniors in our community. Stockings are provided.
   
Toy Shop
Helpers

Collect, sort and help distribute a warehouse
full of food and toys for needy families at Thanksgiving
and Christmas.  Requires mobility and some lifting.
