FORGOTTEN ANGELS PROGRAM

The Salvation Army Nashville Area Command has partnered with Daily's Convenience Stores, Twicedaily, LAMAR Advertising, 103 WKDF and 104.5 The Zone to bring our Holiday Angel Tree Assistance program a Forgotten Angels Shop.  With over 17,000 "angels" in need of assistance this year, not all of the "angels" will be adopted.  To ensure that each special angel receives Christmas assistance, we have developed a forgotten angels shop were we store generic toys, clothing and items.  When a parent comes to pick up their gifts and one of their children were not adopted, we send our volunteers to shop in our Forgotten Angel Shop.

So how does Daily's, LAMAR, WKDF and The Zone help make this possible?

Daily's Convenience Stores - At over 100 Daily's locations, The Salvation Army has set up Forgotten Angel Trees.  On these trees are generic angels, boy/girl, elderly or special needs - their customers can take a tag off the tree, shop for the needs and wish listed and then drop them off at Daily's.  These items then come back into our Forgotten Angel Shop.  Please know that if the Daily's store you shop at is located outside of our Area Command's service area, your gifts will be distributed locally in your own community.

LAMAR Advertising - When you are driving down the Interstate, look for LAMAR billboards keeping you updated with Salvation Army information.

103.3 WKDF-FM and 104.5 FM- The Zone - On Wednesday, December 4th, 2012, both sister radio stations will bring to their listeners Toy Field.  Toy Field is located at the LP Statium.  Listen to your favorite radio stations for special giveaways and be sure to drop off toys and help us fill up the end zone at the Titans stadium.  All toys collected will go to our Forgotten Angel shop.
