feeding programs DC

The Grate Patrol Homeless Outreach Program brings an evening meal, fellowship, and the opportunity for professional help to the homeless on the streets of Washington, DC.

The program operates 365 nights a year and serves more than 3,000 homeless each month.

Originally, the program offered meals alone. Today, an outreach coordinator attempts to engage homeless individuals in a professional helping relationship and connect them with appropriate social services.
