Vanesa is a lovely smiley girl who has settled in well to the center. Her parents work all day on the other side of the city. Vanesa and her sister are happy while attending the center.

Lucia is in school and is making good grades. She loves to eat fruit and vegetables. The center helps Lucia by providing her the attention that every child needs.

Jhonny
Age: 7

Jhonny lives in a one room house made of adobe. They do not have electricity nor do they have running water. Even though his clothing is basic, it is clean.

Victoria

Victoria housing is basic. She attends the center and church to become a leader. They also help her with school work. Victoria’s greatest desire is helping others.

Victor lives in a room bedroom house with his parents, sisters and brother. His clothing is very old and worn out. The mother is selling things and doing laundry for money. Victor’s health is ok, although he is cross-eyed.

Claudia is a very quiet child and well behaved. She attends first grade and wants to become a teacher. Her health is good, she loves to play. She also has two other siblings. Claudia has a very bad living situation. Her family’s income is very low and they live in a room that measures 3 x 3 meters. This room doesn’t have a bathroom so the family has to use their neighbor’s bathroom.

Evelin
El Rancho Center - Ecuador

Evelin was born July 12, 1997. Her favorite subject is English. She loves to play with dolls and someday she wants to become a doctor. Evelin lives with her mother and grandmother. They both work as maids and live in a rented house. They are poor and the money that they have is not enough. Evelin goes to school and attends the center afterwards to received food and tutoring.

Juan
Manzanillo – Cuba

Juan is a very hyperactive child who enjoys playing ball. Juan wants to become a teacher some day. He has aggressive behavior and sees a psychiatrist for assistance. His health is said to be sickly. Juan’s living situation is critical because neither does his family have a bathroom. Juan lives with his parents and four other siblings.

Oscar
La Roca – Bolivia

Oscar is a happy little boy who likes to watch Barney. He also has a baby brother, David that he loves to play with, giving hugs and kisses when ever he can. Oscar speaks very well for his age and is always learning new things. His health is fair. Oscar father and uncle set a great example for him as they are always involved in his life.

John
Joytown Primary School – Kenya

John is in good health despite his photo. John loves to draw and his favorite subject is English. His ambition in life is to become a teacher. John’s family is poor, there for John resides at Joytown Primary School. They assist him with his disability.  He has two sisters and one older brother. His father is a farmer and there is no known record of his mother and what she does for a living.

Jose
Day Care Center – Peru

Jose lives with his parents and three siblings. The father works by selling things on the street and his mother works as a street sweeper. The money that they earn is not enough to cover their basic needs. They live in a small unfinished home. Jose health is well and he loves running and playing. Jose also desires to become a fireman

Fredricka was born January 21, 2005. She has an older brother name Leonel who is 10. Fredricka loves playing with her peers but she is still very quiet. Fredricka's mother is the sole income provider in the family; they are from a very poor community and have problems sending Fredricka to school sometimes

Josephine was born May 25, 1990. She resides at Joytown School for Students with Disabilities. Josephine favorite subjects are math and social studies. She also loves to play with peers. Josephine's health is good, however she has a very poor family. Her family consist of 2 brothers and 1 sister. Her mother is a farmer for ½ an acre.

Darwin was born June 5, 1995. Darwin's loves to play soccer. He lives with his mother and sister in a room made of wood and dirt. He receives food at the center. He's family is very poor

Kevin was born September 7, 2005. Kevin is a very smart boy. His parents work out of town and they come to see their family once a week. He has 3 brothers. The family relationship is not too well due to the parents work but it is improving.
